Blacksmiths - part of the Tide Mills Project.

The Tide Mills Project,  part of the heritage weekend, is a quirky art-based event which combines art installations with a smattering of local history. Many of the events take place after dark, tickets were free and sold out soon. One small problem is that the way to the site is along an unlit and bumpy path, with limited parking some way away. The first extra (what is it?) gives an idea of the site. I think I may be coming out as a philistine here, in spite of enjoying the London art galleries for years when I worked there, but I could not see the relevance of the art works shown in the extras.  The tiny windmill (which stopped moving as I watched) does not exactly give people an idea of how a tide mill worked.

I think I'm heading towards grumpiness!
