Red Sky at Morning....

...Sailors Take Warning...

So we did - and no-one went sailing! 

We did take the boat on a dump run though..and all was well. Always fun to go to the dump...and also fun to have a bonfire down by the water...As it was not yet raining, and knowing it would be after lunch, we lit a fire and burned some of the debris that had fallen during those recent stormy days and nights. Sure enough..as we were finishing up, the rains came...as predicted.. and life moved indoors. The de-cluttering was resumed, laundry was done, and food for tonight's dinner was prepared..another cold weather rainy day menu - pot roast! Yum.

My search for blips today - before the rain - resulted in a close-up of an Araneus Nordmanni spider ( didn't think that would be too popular)  and a cute chipmunk who kept interrupting my attempts at a close-up of a toad stool...
