Looking to Brae

Another windy day, easing a bit tonight.  Cloudy with showers this morning, but cleared into a sunny day. 

Checked out of the hotel after breakfast, and went for a drive to Muckle Roe.  Not much of a morning for a walk.  Headed back down the road, and picked up Sammy from Madeline's.  I popped by Donald to have a look at my car, new front spring needed.  Sis Laura has loaned me her car.  Bumped into Julie and Keba out walkies this afternoon, and more walkies this evening.  Sadly saw a few rabbits with myxomatosis, poor things.  Settled down with the telly tonight. 

It was a great meal in the Mid Brae Inn last night, and enjoyed a few pints in the pub after.  Staying in the Brae Hotel was good.  It was clean and tidy, a good breakfast, but the bed was quite uncomfortable.  I'll definitely stay there again, but ask for a different room.  Looking back towards the hotel from the other side of the Voe, with the hotel almost in the centre, above the yellow house.  Taken from Ladies Mire, Brae.
