Youth Climate March

About two thousand middle school and high school students marched to an empty City Hall (officials claim they're working from home because of Covid) to demand policy change to mitigate climate catastrophe. They've got all the right ideas, but they're shouting to deaf (and absent) ears.

It was exciting to be out in the world again, photographing people who are still actively trying to make change through public protest. The sign that hurt me most was "You'll die of old age but we'll die of climate change" (Extra).
