"Us too!"

Played golf at Grange Park this morning. I didn't start off very well but then managed par on two holes, which is unheard of for me. Even getting one on par is unusual. We finished with a drink and bacon sandwich. 

As soon as I got home I took my bike in for repair and returned to clean the bike I had borrowed. It's about time I got those jobs done. On then to attempt some shopping at a sports shop on my way to swimming. Shopping not very successful, the shop has gone downhill in the range of its stock. I was half way to the swimming pool when I realised I didn't have a towel! Good job I noticed before I got in the pool. :-)) I did an about turn back to the shopping area to buy a towel from the supermarket. I eventually made it to the pool but only did 0.6 of a mile this time. My arm was aching from the flu jab and made it harder to swim. 

I went back to the supermarket afterwards to do some planned shopping. On both trips the queue for the petrol stations was amazingly long. People are obviously panicking about shortage. 

This isn't the best of photos for the 1st of my 10th year. It was on the phone and heavily cropped. I saw the peacock when I dropped my bike off at the shop. I got out of the car to take the photo and suddenly the three guineafowl popped their heads above the banking. The peacock quickly moved over to chat with them.
