2021 Wednesday — Becky & Steve

On rare occasions Mr. Fun & I get to be with forever friends. Today was one of those days.

Becky & Steve live in Arizona and are in SoCal for several days to see friends, go to an Angels baseball game, and get their toes in the sand at Newport Beach.

We thought we would not get to see them because we had planned to leave yesterday for the Central Coast and then postponed our leaving because our neighbor was in a serious accident (see yesterday’s post).

So this morning we met Becky & Steve at 7:00 a.m. (ugh that was early) at a local restaurant for breakfast. We have not seen them for several years. Our time with them was terrific. We treasure these moments.

After we parted ways, we headed to the house, finished packing, put the pups in the car, and we were on our way to California’s Central Coast. After 4 hours and 15 minutes of road time, we arrived at our destination at about 1:35 p.m.
