Solva Harbour
We spent the day at Solva, about 13 miles or so around the bay. Having parked at the harbour in the top left of the photo, we walked along the coastal path towards St David's for a couple of miles. The photo was taken at the top of the cliffs just outside Solva.
We headed back for an excellent pub lunch in The Cambrian Inn. Tess had a crab sandwich with large chunks of crab with chips while I had the best beef, Guinness and stilton pie I've ever had, with a suet pastry to die for. If your ever in Solva I can thoroughly recommend it.
After lunch wr walked up The Gribin, the headland in the centre of the photo, and had a long chat with a Welsh lady who was also admiring the view. She's a regular visitor to the area and recommended the shop back near the harbour which specialises in Welsh Cakes, so we had to call in to buy a few before heading back to the cottage.
