Hoarfrost
Has we did our work out up Hookney Tor this morning, it was obvious that as we climbed higher that there had been a hoarfrost on vegetation and rocks over a certain height which had also covered the Tor. If you look down to the bottom left of the image you will see the outline of were a tent had been pitched and I would guess that some hardy soul had spent the night up here over the weekend
As soon as you drop down below a certain height, the frost disappears as if someone had drawn a line .
On our way around the block this morning we spotted out first moorland lamb of the year (lambs from sheep who live up on the moor) and it was a toss up as to which to use for my blip so I compromised, See insert top left
We are off back to East Devon today to get our house squared off before we come back down for Easter so we will have to wait and see what tomorrows blip brings!
This one will look good in Large (I think)
