One More Inkwell

The provenance on this one is just as murky as the one in yesterday's blip.  It's one-inch tall and one and one-half inches on each side.  I doubt it would hold much more than a tablespoon of ink, so whoever owned it probably didn't write a lot.  I love the little turtle lid especially.

My daughter has a live turtle named Flash.  Flash has been with her since her son brought him home one day when he was probably 11 or 12.  He's 38 now.  Flash didn't have a very bright future after the thrill of owning a turtle wore off so my daughter took over and since then Flash has lived a pampered life and has a home/diet/care that would be the envy of any turtle.   We don't know how old Flash was when she got him but if you do the math you'll come to the same conclusion that we have --  Flash will outlive us all.
