Antique Inkwell

Another little treasure from my china cabinet that needed dusting.  I believe it belonged to my grandmother although I don't know for sure, nor do I have any idea as to its age but it's surely from the18th century.  It's really a beautiful example of cloisonne and bronze.   It's quite heavy too.  Unfortunately, it's missing the little finial on the lid.  I wish I knew more about it but my grandmother died when I was a self-absorbed teenager and thoughtlessly never asked.  It's not the only thing I regret not asking about.
