Tractor Wednesday ....

A dry start so brought some cows and calves in to tag the calves and moved them to another field.
I’ve managed to sell some barley to one of my cousins to help pay for the combining bill , so he sent his man over with his loader tractor, borrowed one of my trailers and set about hauling it back to his farm. By tonight he had managed the 4 loads he wanted. ( He also wants to borrow the trailer to haul some wheat before he brings it back !)
Wee brother busy sorting out hill lambs to go store to Stirling mart on Monday. Hopefully the trade holds up as we will need a good price. Was pricing cow feed today and it is up £60 a ton from last year ! The country is going to the dogs, nothing to do with Brexit of course !
And it’s raining tonight so my load of barley in the ( as yet unfixed) grain drier will take a lot more drying now !
My cousin is one of the few other McCormick tractor men round about.
