Cooking with gas ......

Red diesel (Gas oil) not gas, but sounds better !
John the sparky back with a control panel for the grain dryer, and after fitting it and a new magic eye ,checking out the igniters and fuel solenoids , eventually got both flames going. So the rest of the day spent loading wet barley, emptying dry barley and a bit of shovelling on top of a bin.
The only down side was it was blowing a gale, so emptying the dried grain into the trailers was a bit of a challenge !
A trip next door tonight to help bring in a newly calved cow as the calf hadn’t sucked. Maybe had something to do with her tits looking like a bunch of overinflated bananas !
Then back home , loaded up feeding and off down the road to feed cattle there. Coming home by 8 pm and it was dark. Think autumn is here !
