Laid

While I was away tramping for the weekend the family and the neighbours went chicken shopping at Chook Manor, your one stop chook shop. So they say ..

They returned with 6 new brown chickens (18 weeks old I think), a feed trough, a water thingy and some food. At great expense. I think the payback on these chickens will be several years. Adam is supposed to be analysing that at present, but it has materialised yet ...

So far they have laid 2 eggs. Total. The kids have been warned ... no eggs, no live.

However, apparently these types of chickens aren't good for eating, so if they don't start laying soon we'll have some of the most expensive chicken stock ever produced.

Expect a few chicken blips. Well, more than cats blips anyway ...
