A grand day out

Another trip to Great Dixter. The sun came out and the gardens looked amazing considering how late it was in the season. L&J arrived yesterday and we had a leisurely breakfast putting the world to rights. OH drove the scenic route to Northiam and we arrived at lunchtime. The car parks were busy but the visitors didn’t fill the garden and there was plenty to see. A tour around the house completed the visit. As we were so close to Rye we had an hour walking around and looking in a few shops. Home for dinner and last minute phone call from No.2 who has encountered more flat problems. Fingers crossed they can all be resolved (so I can sleep easy again!)
