The perils of ceilidh dancing

We’d been a wee bit worried that the rain would have made it difficult to get the van back up the grassy slope to get onto the main road but it was pretty painless and we made it with no issues.

It was a lovely bright autumnal morning and it was an easy drive back home. Wee bit of traffic through Newcastle but didn’t cause us much of a delay and we were home just after 3.

Miss PHL had a busy weekend in Aberdeen with her friends - an Anna tribute night on Friday followed by a drama society ball on Saturday. There was a lot of ceilidh dancing and her arm is quite bruised. Hopefully it won’t take too long to heal. I have an almost similar bruise on my left arm after bashing against the door of the van.

Phin was quite excited to see us but still very tired after 3 days at doggy daycare so he snoozed a lot in the afternoon giving me time to start emptying the van.

Enjoyed a lovely bath after dinner followed by bed.
