I had taken my quilt with me to work on over the weekend as I knew my friend L would also would also be working away on her delightful cross stitched sampler while we chatted. As you can see the sampler is really beautiful and you would never tell that she is a beginner having only recently taken up the hobby up as relaxation while she recovers from various medical procedures. It has been really good to be able to spend quality time with L as she faces yet more treatment soon.

Back home now and reunited with my chums although tonight I have an extra four legged body as Brodie has come over to spend his first ever sleep over in my house. I just hope the dogs sleep well and don't decide to have midnight shenanigans!
