Celebrating 400

Happy MM400, and thanks to random_angel for hosting • I like the simplicity of this small bird feeder in the late afternoon sun. It isn’t limited to birds either because squirrels, chipmunks, woodchucks and deer eat from it too. The lines, edges and texture of the feeder are more pronounced in mono • I got busy this morning planting the echinacea and black-eyed susan we purchased last week, with fingers crossed the deer stay away long enough for their roots to get established • Both MrsP and I spent some time weeding as the recent rain benefited both the desirables and the undesirables :) It’s never ending as some of you know • And, as for our infamous skunk duo, yes, they visited again last night as the “nest” hole continues to grow bigger and deeper. I counted five dazed yellow jackets flying low around the excavated area today. Until the skunks are done, there’s no point in us repairing the bed. It’s frustrating! • We’re finally getting around to watching Ted Lasso - it’s hilarious and heartwarming.
