Lunch at the Riverside

SUNDAY

We went to The Boat at Erbistock with Harriet and George for Sunday lunch. It's a grade II listed 17th Century building  associated with the windlass ferry crossing of the river Dee. It's in an idyllic location with outdoor tables at the side of the river and the food and service were both first class.

Harriet was still a bit delicate from the previous night's celebrations so we took her car back to Nottingham and then returned back home to Halifax.

I was a bit disappointed with tonight's episode of Vigil as the plot is becoming a bit far-fetched. I actually nodded off during the programme so I have still to catch up on the last 10 minutes on iPlayer.
