Lake Union Drydock

I’ve been missing seeing this always interesting place…but today I managed the 2 mile walk a bit past here so it’s duly recorded.    Just some barge in there for who knows what.   with those great little popcorn berries.  (I'm sure they have a proper name.....). Edit : How about snow berries ?

Then our one trip out was to pick up the old blue volvo sitting by Nik’s house… Tatum didn’t use it and she’s moving into her dorm on Tuesday.   Herb loves this car and takes care of it (to a fault, imo) so it will sit in our garage til Oskar is ready for it.  Or Nik comes home.    We had a fun chat in the yard ..(extra:  Herb with Cocoa Bean ..he does love to see his grandogs.   Mask on as extra caution for Anne’s immune system, as she is getting the second round of chemo .  Then they included us later on a group text with Nik on facetime…  (2nd extra….I did not know one could do this from texting!!) from his college (Lewis and Clark) .  Everything is good but they can’t cut hair in Portland…his biggest issue. Hates it.    And the philosophy questions in his class are not answerable!!!  His roommate is awesome and he’s managed to do his laundry !  what more can one ask?
