Pretty puddles today

I picked hips & haws before walking Indie, then spent a couple of hours with Mum working on the jigsaw puzzle. Back home, quick lunch, then I sliced the courgettes & salted for a couple of hours while I prepared the hips & haws, put them on to bubble away. Prepared the other ingredients ready to make the chutney. I cut the legs off a pair of tights, ready for straining the fruits overnight. Put the pulp straining. Got dinner started, then the chutney on to simmer until thick. Finished making dinner- roast pork, etc. Removed the skins from the harvested hazelnuts while watching Countryfile, added them to the chutney before filling the jars. Yum!
