Who says it's colder up north?
Successfully completed the Essex-Lincoln-Essex trip today. There was some snow falling as I left and the countryside was covered in the white stuff until north of Peterborough. As I entered the city though, the temperature started to climb, much of the remaining snow on the car roof and bonnet melted and as you can see from the left half, the sky was blue!
On the right, you can see part of Suffolk, still supporting the snow. On our return to Essex, it was still white, but I reckon it may not last through tomorrow.
