Day 33 Level 4 Lockdown
We decided to walk through Churchill Park this morning, which is a large park in the suburb of Glendowie. Just before entering the park we saw an Echium Candicans Madeira (thank you BrianBlip), so I took the opportunity of a close up (top left). A short way into the park we came across an area of the stream that runs through Churchill Park where it is possible to see lots of eels. There was a lot of reflection in the water, but I did manage to capture one eel as it came to the surface (top right). A nearby sign (bottom) gives some details about the eels. A short distance further on we saw a figure at the bottom of someone’s garden, holding a mobile phone in his hand. Except it wasn’t a real person, but a “statue” of a rabbit (right). Very curious! We enjoyed our walk and the interesting things we saw and managed to arrive back home having been rained on just a little.
