Honesty

We have a fabulous crop of honesty this year - it is the emblem of the local high school, which was designed by No1 son.

I had gone outside to see about getting a shot or two of the Rowan berries (there is a huge crop this year) but before I got there I noticed that the Cyclamen are out. There are three clumps (that I saw) - all self seeded for somewhere. Unfortunately it was a bit dark in the undergrowth to et a shot of the white ones. They certainly weren't catching the sun like the Anemone. Maybe anther day.
It was also a bit dark under the False Caster Oil plant and the Hazel, but I did try and get a shot of the fallen leaves
Eventually I got round to the Rowan - and the water lily, the black barked Holly, the Montana Clematis (Elizabeth) which has to have the smallest Clematis flowers I have ever seen.

My infection seems to have subdued a bit today I am glad to say (although I was up every hour during the night).

I made 3 spinning tops, hand cut a big chunk of wood (I really must find the tool for sharpening the chain saw) and swept the garage and I think that is about it for the day.
