Lions again!

This is the North Lodge entrance to Pollok Park. The lodge was designed by Robert Rowan Anderson in 1892 and is B listed. The lodge wall has the Maxwell Family motto "I am ready gang forward" and the date 1892 in Roman numerals (MDCCCXCII)
The two larger gate piers are surmounted by stone lions similar to the ones at the house, carved by Hew Lorimer. 
The extra shows the view from the other side of the gates.
