Mallachie

A big day of driving. I helped L with flitting back to Aberdeen today. He has worked from home since January. In a bit of, short notice, good luck, D from the survey firm was travelling north from Edinburgh to Inverness and was able to take my theodolite post calibration with him.
Arranged while I was on the road, we would meet somewhere on the A9, the route he was travelling north on and the one I would cross while travelling back west. I was a bit early reaching the A9 so had a cup of tea from the flask then had a walk to Mallachie. The requisite amount of time consumed I met with D and got the instrument back. It was a long day on the road but so nice to have a walk down to the loch.
