This morning (Wednesday) we left Mull on the first ferry from Fishnish to Lochaline. The journey across country was spectacular and, once again the roads were surprisingly quiet.

It took us over 5 hours to get to the Cairngorms so, after booking into our new site, we took Jorgie for a long walk around Loch an Eilein deep in an area of ancient Caledonian forest.
The trees are beautiful with boughs dripping with lichen, ferns and mosses.
