Pink blackberry flowers

Thank you for your interesting and supportive comments about the conduct of the Parish Council and linking it to the distorted and tangled shadows of the crane fly. Apparently, there are over 90 varieties of crane fly, one of which is the daddy longlegs.

Not much to report today. I met with a supported to discuss next steps of our campaign, Susan worked at home. She had a doctor’s appointment this afternoon so I walked with her and we walked on around the village, spotting these blackberry flowers on the golf course rough.

Susan went to her mum’s while I did some Uke practice for tonight’s Folk Club - the first since March 2020. A very good turnout and I managed to maul one song.
