I choose this one
I was once told that when you walk along the Bosphorus and see all the boats- you have to choose one (you dont get to keep it-just in an imaginary world). Sometimes you see giant yachts. Sometimes you see these little fishing boats. I choose this one.
I have noticed throughout this photojournal process that I like simplicity. I like keeping things as simple as possible. Or my goal should be to keep things as simple as possible.
Since I moved to Turkey I have learned some basic things-and it is kind of embarrassing to admit that they took me 28 years to figure out...
1. Trust yourself and be yourself
2. Surround yourself with people who support you and challenge you (in a positive way)
3. It is not important to be liked by many if the price is you and what you believe.
4. Family is important
5. Don't burn bridges and if you have burnt them- learn from it and dont make the same mistake again.
6. Listen to music
7. Laughter is needed
8. Simple is best
9. Learning never stops
10. Kindness goes a long long way
I like this boat because it is simple. It is surrounded by dozens of boats in a giant body of water- it knows its purpose and I choose this one.
