The Bench

It's funny how somethings or in this case, some places become a part of your life. This specific area has become a place of importance to me. It has been a place where I have accomplished goals and a place where I have had great conversations.

Every time I run and pass this bench I get caught in memories. Even that railing going into the water is a place of significance. That is the railing that led me into the Bosphorus for my 1st swim.

Istanbul has become a city of specific places. Taksim's music area. The barber shop in Arnavutkoy. The waffle shops in Ortakoy. And this bench area in Bebek. All these places mean something to me. This bench area is one of my favorite places. And the view is amazing.
