Catching up

Spent all day with Shelagh, starting with a good walk through the forest at Shell Bay in Elie straight after breakfast and ending with a supper of kedgeree followed by either damson and apple crumble or strawberries and cream - or both - in the evening! On the walk we met a blipper friend from many years ago, LargoLass!  Sadly, she has lost her beardies Jess and Molly and we have lost Ollie, but she now has Finn and we have Lottie. A lovely surprise to see her again!

A lovely sunny day, which got very hot in the afternoon. We sat in Shelagh's garden and chatted and then had a walk along the coastal path and carried on chatting, so much to talk about. It was really hot, we had to keep stopping and resting. Poor Lottie had a great time but found it too hot too.  Mike stayed at S's, wiring the new dash cam into the campervan. Hot work in the burning heat!

Retired to our campsite again at night. Sorry to have to say goodbye to her, but hopefully she will be up in Orkney during the school October break.
