A long way out
I hadn’t appreciated just how far the tide goes out along the Solway Firth. A very long walk would be required for a sea swim. This jellyfish had been left behind by the tide at Ravenglass, I think judging by its attractive blue colour, it is a Barrel Jellyfish.
I drove to Keswick in the afternoon which was heaving with people almost uniformly clad in walking kit.
Good to back at Higham for yoga and walking. Felt very strange, in a good way, to meet a colleague I had worked with more than two decades ago. We reminisced about very difficult Directors of Education and the limited equalities progress that has really been made in the intervening years.
