Numbers

Alfie is 19 today. He celebrated by taking the day off work and going to Sainsbury’s. He only got 6 cards as the postman didn’t appear. D cooked beef rendang then we had birthday cake from the co op. I didn’t have a number 9 candle so D had to bend an old candle into a 9 shape. I think Alf has realised that birthdays don’t hold the same magic once you’re over 18.
