Bern

We travelled by car from Zermatt to Bern, including a piggyback ride on a train through the Lötschberg Tunnel; today is an orientation visit, starting at the Bern Historical Museum - and Momo’s for lunch - following the bank of the river Aare to the bear pit, then across the Nydegbrucke (photographed) and up the main street through the historic centre to the Zytglogge, the 15th century tower clock. We found our hotel nearby, opposite the 14th century French church, then on by tram to K2 and R’s flat. Dinner then back to stay in the centre of the city.
