Left early morning to go to our ECD centre in Mazabuka.  I was there to help the committee to understand how to run the centre - collecting money, budgeting etc!  It was lovely to see almost 60 children there today - with 2 teachers and very few play materials!  But they do a lot of singing and playing games so at least the kids are having fun!

This little girl had just arrived and fell asleep - on top of a bench which can not be the most comfortable and with the potential of falling off - I was thinking that health and safety in some other countries would not appreciate this!!!

Since I have been in Zambia they have made a good road to Mazabuka - it used to be horrendous!  But now they are doing major roadworks in the town itself, so to get to the centre was a major detour...lots of dust and dirt!  Hopefully in a few months it will be a nice new road too!
