Ski de fond

I finally made it aux Estables. After hearing everyone here endlessly talking about going skiing there, I was happy to have a go. I mastered moving along on the flat pretty easily but as soon as there was a downhill slope, I spent most of the time on the floor. I even once managed to knock over the super cute 7 year old son of my tutrice, leaving us both on the floor in fits of laughter. We covered 6km so it's safe to say that my legs will be feeling it tomorrow morning. We rewarded ourselves with hot chocolate in a cute restuarant in the middle of nowhere. After returning to mine to shower and change, I went to dinner at Maryline's house. Lots of foie gras, canard, an aperetif, two different types of wine and a digestif. We were still at the table at 1 o'clock in the morning. I slept at at theirs, dreamt in French and woke up to a breakfast of croissants... Pretty much a perfectly French day.
