Waiting for the runners

Today we acted as marshals for the Lake District Mountain Trial, a really tough trail of 27km and 2500m ascent.  This is Andy waiting in a sheepfold between Robinson and Hindscarth to record the 86 runners passing through and encourage them to carry on to Buttermere, then up to red Pike and back to Loweswater.  We had it easy!
