Turning up the volume...

Those of you who know of Ulverston's musical traditions and abundance of festivals might have thought that Blast Furness are amongst the loudest and most outrageously dressed, but today at the town's Charter Day we were eclipsed by the DeatBeats, another local band whose weird costumes and movement brought the crowd alive - and their drumming was the most dramatic I have ever heard.
