This little Purple Loosestrife is still going strong on the river bank although some of the other flowers are beginning to go over now. It's been a sunny and quite warm day although the temperature has dipped sharply this evening.
I made 7 lbs of jam from the Czar plums I blipped yesterday, that should keep me going for a while.
The extra was laying on the river bank this morning, don't know if we disturbed a Heron or Otter having breakfast on our wander round the garden first thing. I've looked online and can't identify it as a fresh water fish, perhaps it was taken from a neighbours pond and brought to the secluded bank to be eaten. Can anyone help identify it ??, I've cropped the picture to save you from the gory details.
