Extraordinary ....

.... hassle. And unnecessary too.

So a couple of days ago I spent nearly an hour on the phone to BT sorting out the renewal of our broadband and phone contract. Today I spent over an hour sorting it out again. I was told previously that we had to migrate our two mobile contracts to EE and admittedly got a very good deal. I would have to transfer our existing numbers but all that would be explained when the new SIM cards arrived. Today we had delivery of just one SIM card, with no information on how to transfer the existing number and no information confirming any details of the new contract and prices. After a bit of checking on line I discovered that we don't have to move at all and BT is still offering mobile contracts. So I called again and it is all resolved now, I hope. I bet another unwanted SIM card arrives tomorrow though.

In other news we have been moving furniture today. We are having new bedroom furniture delivered on Monday so the garage which I emptied a week or so ago is now full of the old stuff. When we are sure the new units are OK (I am a bit worried about getting one of them up the stairs as it is pretty big) we will try to get BHF or another charity/recycling outfit to collect the old ones. I'm not confident anyone will want them though. They only seem to want items which look like brand new these days, and these have had quite a few years use.
