A beautiful home - for snakes!

This lovely sunken garden is at the side of our property. It is on the common land of our estate. With the warmer spring weather the garden is waking up. In the hot summer months it provides a pleasant habitat - for snakes!! We've never actually seen one on our property but we are always careful to make lots of noise with our boots whenever we venture into the garden. We also never leave the garage door open. Oh, the joys of summer.
