It was just a few minutes walk away to see the penultimate stage of the Tour of Britain cycle race on its way to Edinburgh.   The cyclists were preceded by dozens of police motorbikes with flashing lights including at least one from Wales – probably a team of them have accompanied theTour from the English and Welsh stages.  The five in the breakaway group rushed down the hill so quickly that it was difficult getting a photo and only managed a departing shot of the dozens following in the peloton.  With a whoosh they were past in a flash.
