Bird of Prey centre, Loch Lomond
Another unexpectedly dry day, but oh so welcome. We went to Loch Lomond, had a little walk around the shore and then spent some time in the Bird of Prey centre. They have a stunning collection of birds, all very well cared for. My favourites today were the two huge Golden Eagles and the beautiful goshawk that was used in one of the flying display(extras).
We also stopped off at the small RSPB reserve at Loch Lomond, but there were a distinct lack of birds around. In fact, it's not been great for birds this week, but the scenery and walks have more than made up for it.
Only a couple of days left and we are off the see the Kelpies at Falkirk before we leave at some stage. It's been a super week so far.
