The Pattern Store.

We visited this amazing listed building this morning as part of heritage open weekends. Part of the building has been converted into a Church of England Church ( called the Pattern church), but other parts of the building have been cleaned and are ready for other uses.

It was built as part of the Swindon railway works ( the Outlet Centre has also been repurposed too from the works)

We were able to purchase one of the original patterns that were used as part of railway production.

Fascinating stuff!

We have got a different heritage visit booked for tomorrow.
