Swansea

We’re car park camping in mumbles today. We paid £6 for the day (24hours) and cycled into Swansea, which is 4 miles along a wide, flat path. It was a disappointment, down at heel and boarded up in places.
After returning to the vans, we noticed a market is happening here tomorrow starting at 6am, so tried to move along a bit, but after a lot of faffing about we were not happy. Then we realised there was a lose grate which bubumped with each car passing. There’s another. car park further along, which seemed quieter. So we upped sticks (wheels) and hightailed it over there. Willing to pay a further £6 (non transferable ticket), but this £6 was only for 12 hours!! The joys and tribulations of free camping.
Dinner at The Shared Plate’ was excellent, I had Vietnamese fresh rolls and cauliflower with hazelnuts. They accidentally brought us fries, so we ate them. Then a vegan chocolate and date torte which was too much.
