I aint Missing you at all

This was Si, demonstrating to Boy how sad he was that we weren't with him for his Birthday. Again. 

Boy had been stressing that he needed nothing from us, we had given him everything he needed, and he was happy with his lot. 

And then Dad said, "except for me to go for a pint with you". 

And Boy Said, "that made me sad dad".  And Dad responded with the above.    "Not as sad as it made me".
