A dozen or more bees targeting our escallonia bush. Great watching them visit and revisit the vibrant pink tublar like flowers. It’s  bright green leaves are sticky just now. It was popular with butterflies recently. And small birds throughout.

Researched and priced some options for a project we’re considering. A morning job, sharper then.

Quiet life. Family plans take them to England this weekend. We’ll be staying home or nearby.
