A grand walking day

Taking our minds off health issues, we met Andrea and Pete in the Cheviots, half an hour from us, for a 7 mile walk. It was a perfect day for it - warm, dry but not too hot.

Mr C spotted a good patch of mushrooms so that’s us sorted for our supper.

Now we are en route to pick Ella and Nathaniel up. They’ll stay with us tonight only as they have rugby on Sunday. I hope the rest will help the parents recovery. They are still feeling rough. I hope it won’t be long Covid. Everyone seems to react differently but I’m just glad they were double vaccinated if this is how bad you can be even with the vaccine.
