Ullswater

After work I decided to visit our swim spot out of curiosity and sadness. The campsites are still busy but there was no-one about at our old place. I parked up briefly to take this photo and as I did another vehicle pulled up and tucked in well off the road as well. It was two local women coming for a swim. I vaguely recognised one of them and we talked about the new restrictions and the impact. We debated if this little bit qualified as a lay-by and was sufficiently off the road to be neither verge nor passing place.
I didn’t feel comfortable hanging around though so had a short wander up at Roe Head ... just look at that glow (extra).
