Solace Day 5

The day started gently in the mist.

Our journey took us through and industrial area. (Extra) Those good at chemistry will see what they are doing. I wish the designer had used subscript! (Extra)

Well, after yesterday's throttle trouble we had booked an engineer on this route (Extra), to take a look. He fixed the problem and spotted a few other issues while he was down in the engine compartment. All for a very reasonable fee. 

We were safe to proceed, however, in telling the Anderton Lift company that we needed to swap for a later booking, we were told they were just about to ring us to say it was closed for a repair. What? It's only just re-opened! They will keep us informed.

The day ended gentle with a whisky or two and a nice meal. (Extra)
