Calne Town Gardens (Wednesday 8th September 2021)

Thinking I may have dropped something valuable in the Town Gardens on a previous walk I went back on the off chance it was still there and took a few pictures. It was beginning to look quite autumnal with the roses becoming quite withered.

It wasn't there but by detective work I was later able to deduce that it must still be in the house and exactly where, and found it.

There hasn't been much to do in the garden for the last couple of weeks apart from keeping it watered; consequently Refna hadn't been over, but I'm pleased to report she stopped by for a general chat and catch-up before lunch. I noticed the grapes are ripening nicely, and the Woodland Garden is rich in gorgeous Lords and Ladies.
